These terms govern your use of Shikaar AI. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
Shikaar AI provides search over publicly available job postings, ranking of those postings against a resume you supply, and assistance in preparing application materials.
We may add, change or withdraw features, and may suspend or discontinue the service, at any time.
The service is currently offered without charge while in preview. We intend to keep job search available without charge, and to offer the features that rely on automated ranking, tailoring and drafting under a paid plan.
We will give notice in the service before any feature you are using becomes chargeable, and no charge will ever be made without you first selecting a paid plan and providing payment details. Prices, plan contents and usage limits may change, and any change takes effect prospectively.
You must be at least 16 years old and legally able to enter into these terms. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for activity that takes place under your account.
You retain all rights in your resume, notes and any other material you upload. You grant us a licence to host, store, process and display that material as needed to provide, secure, analyse and improve the service for you. We do not sell it and we do not send it to employers on your behalf.
You confirm that you have the right to upload what you upload, and that it does not belong to someone else.
Tailored resumes, cover letters and drafted answers are produced by a large language model. The model is instructed to rely only on what your resume supports and not to invent employers, metrics or projects.
Language models nevertheless make errors, and a submitted application carries your name, not ours. You are solely responsible for reviewing all generated material for accuracy and completeness before using it. Shikaar never submits an application on your behalf, so that this review always takes place.
A match score is an automated assessment of how closely a posting corresponds to your resume. Scores are estimates, not predictions of outcome, and a low score is not an assessment of your suitability for a role. They are provided to help you prioritise your attention and should not be relied on for any other purpose.
Job postings originate with the employers who publish them. We do not control their content, accuracy or availability, and a role may be filled or withdrawn before its listing is removed.
Any application you make is between you and the employer. We are not a party to it, are not an employment agency or recruiter, and receive no fee from employers or candidates.
The service does not provide legal, immigration, financial or career advice. Information relating to work authorisation, sponsorship or compensation is provided for convenience only and should be verified independently.
You agree to use the service for your own job search. You must not:
A daily limit applies to AI requests per account so that no single account can exhaust shared capacity. Limits may change without notice.
You may delete your account at any time under Profile → Your data. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms or that are used to attack the service or its users.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular result — including an interview or an offer — will be obtained.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost opportunities, lost applications, or errors in generated material, arising out of or relating to your use of the service. Our aggregate liability shall not exceed the greater of the amount you have paid for the service or fifty US dollars.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from material you upload or submit, or from your breach of these terms.
Our handling of information is described in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms. We collect and use information as described there in order to provide, secure, analyse and improve the service, and those practices may develop as the service does.
We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified in the service before they take effect, and the date above will be updated. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the courts of Dubai shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections available to you where you live.
